Spilling the Beans

Happy Monday! I had such a wonderful weekend {though the weather was iffy and my hubby was is sick} — I received my brand new, amazingly clear, perfection in the form of a lens on Wednesday {is it possible to have real love for an object?} and I got to use that lens at a fun photo shoot on Saturday. I am so unbelievably happy with how the shoot went, and cannot wait to share the photos with you {I took 1200!}. Originally, Sarah and Matt were keeping these photos a secret, which meant no sneak peek here or on Facebook, and I had to keep my mouth shut about them {gasp!}. But…by the grace of God, Sarah texted me last night and said that SHE was too excited about the photos and decided to spill the beans — yay!!! I seriously don’t think I could have waited until April to share the photos from our session. I am editing as fast as my little fingers will let me, but here is a pre-sneak peek of one that I thought was just so sweet with vintage-inspired processing:

Tune in tomorrow — I am hoping to scrounge up some sort of photo depicting ‘Winter Wonderland’ for the I Heart Faces challenge this week, which is going to be hard since I live in south Texas and we are pretty much the complete opposite of a winter wonderland {I wish I could compete next week, after our trip to Colorado… oh well. I guess that’s why it is a challenge, right?}. I will also be doing another give-away for my followers/Facebook fans that you just may L.O.V.E.
