I Heart Faces – Innocent Wonder

This week’s challenge over at I Heart Faces is ‘Innocent Wonder’ and I really had a hard time picking a photo. I have had the privilege of photographing some beautiful children over the past few months and all of them have such a sweet innocence about them. I wanted to pick a photo of a newborn because I instantly think of babies when considering the word wonder, but I figured I would try to think outside the box a bit. As I went through my photos, I clicked on the folder with the photos I shot at the I Heart Faces workshop and this picture immediately spoke to me. I love her expression, smiling because she doesn’t have a care in the world, bright eyes filled with wonder and joy. You just look at it and can tell she is a happy girl. I also love the picture frame in this photo too; it really emphasizes that sweet expression.
