When Misty emailed me about following up their family session with a larger ‘extended’ family session for her parents, I was so nervous because I didn’t know how I would do shooting three families all at once! The only experience I have really had with families that large is my own, and well, we are all just a bunch of crazies so it usually works out! I didn’t know what to expect, meeting Misty and her family for the first time and then just hours later, taking on the rest of the bunch. But boy was I pleasantly surprised! Let’s just say that I felt…well…home.
This family was a bunch of easy-as-pie-to-photograph, laugh-till-you-cry comedians and they were up for anything. They even suggested a few of their own poses/ideas {thanks, Martin!)…
Exhibit A {totally reminded me of an old western photo}:
They are the kind of people you want to have around, chatting about sports and laughing histerically at everything and nothing at all. They don’t take each other too seriously but their love for each other is profound. I am so grateful that I got to meet them ~ all of them! I had a blast with this family and hope to work with you again very soon!
The Peterson's says
Well, you did it AGAIN! Even with 3 families, and this one being a bunch of "crazies". I am proud to be a part of this 'extended' fam. They are going to have the exact problems we had…how to choose just a few when all of them are fantastic!?
oh, and I am loving the outhouse. That is classic. LOL. See ya Friday!!
