It started with cheese {and wine}…

I have known Lori for what seems like forever. I met her freshman year of college {she lived down the hall from my BFF from high school} and it wasn’t long before we were road-tripping to Florida and serving as Social co-chairs together. We have had the same circle of friends since college and I feel so lucky to have a friend like Lori. She is honest and funny and so much fun to hang out with. Her laugh is contagious and her shoe collection has always been quite enviable. More than seven years ago, a few of us sat in her parents’ kitchen gabbing over cheap wine and a block of cheddar. And as we finished off that hunk of cheese, I knew we would be friends for a really long time…

Lori’s fiance, Jacob, is equally as awesome and is such a fun person to be around. When he contacted me about doing their engagement session, I was so happy to be able to photograph their genuine love for one another. I love how the photos turned out and now I am even more excited about their wedding this fall!
