Lindsey is beautiful. She is courageous and positive and always sees the good in others. She loves all people, appreciates a sunny day, and can be found doing mini dance parties (DPs) in her cubicle…or a baseball game…or pretty much any place that makes her happy. My favorite Lindsey quote: “Smiles for Miles.”
James is handsome. He is funny and easy going and extremely loyal. He knows how to have a good time and when to go for what he wants. James encourages Lindsey, allows her to be her uniquely awesome self, and he will cry when he sees his bride walk down the aisle. Twenty bucks, dude. Ok make it 50.
Oh, and did I mention Lindsey is my sister, and that James will be my bro-in-law next May? Minor detail 🙂
Linds is just over 1 year younger to me so that makes me the overly-protective big sis; the one who nags, questions, and butts in; the one who got to drive first, have her own room, and who usually learned lessons the hard way 🙂 We were typical sisters growing up; fighting over boys, the front seat, and the phone. We have been through everything together–good and bad–and sometimes it seems like we walked through fire to get to where we are now. She knows me like no one else and is my best friend. It makes my heart beam with happiness to see her with someone so right for her.
They both looked amazing and were wonderful to photograph, despite the rainy weather and chilly air during half of the shoot. Lindsey and James were up for anything and even turned a last-minute umbrella purchase into a key accessory!
I love this one — it is so them; James leaping and bounding through the air in a pretty awesome heel kick, and Linds flashing a subtle peace sign.
To say I was excited about shooting Lindsey and James’ session in Chicago is an understatement. To say that I had a blast and want to fly up there and do it all again is so….unrealistic. But to say that I love and adore both of them, and that I cannot wait for the day when I can see my little sister walk down the sandy aisle in her pretty white dress to marry the man of her dreams, well, that makes me teary-eyed.
Love you, Nonney. And you too, Jamesssss.
