Random-Tidbits-I’m-Lovin’ Thursday…?

I love reading blogs. Photographers’ blogs, friends’ blogs, blogs written by moms, fasionistas, wedding planners, chefs, DIY-ers, you name it! My feed list is long and diverse and I can spend the better part of my morning blog stalking 🙂 But I never do that, honest. Ehem…

Many blogs I read have themed posts each week to share odd thoughts, products, ideas, etc., like What I’m Lovin’ Wednesday, Friday Randomness, Tidbit Tuesday, or Not Me Monday. I like the idea of having a routine blog post to keep me on schedule {even if it is full of bizarre and random thoughts} — you may be surprised at how easily my days run together and a week passes right on by! I have been known to throw out a Monday Musing or two, but I have found that Monday is typically much too busy for me to commit to a routine post {woe is me}, so being the slight procrastinator that I am, I think Thursday is a good day for sharing randomness. I’ll have to come up with a clever name — any suggestions??– and maybe a fun little logo. You know that’s how I roll 🙂 But until then, here are some things that are making me happy this week that I really wanted to share with ya:

1. My NEW inspiration board! I’ve been scoping similar ones on Pinterest and finally decided to go for it, so Troy and I DIY’d this bad boy and a day later, it was up on my office wall! I love it; it is exactly what I wanted — crisp lines, textured fabric, and a place to put things that inspire me. What do you think?!
2. My TOMS. Oh TOMS. Where do I even start? I hated the idea of these when I first laid eyes on them, but boy was I wrong. Comfort doesn’t even begin to describe these little cozies, and I loved them so much that I bought my mom the same ones for her bday. The fact that they give one pair to a child in need every time you buy one, well that’s just plain awesome. I may have to buy another pair. Or three. 3. The David Yurman bracelet that the hubs got me last weekend. It’s thin and pretty and perfect. Can you have real love for a piece of jewelry? I think so. Thank you, Hubs!4. This raspberry bar from Ooh La La Bakery in Katy. Sure, I love Sprinkles and Crave like the rest of em, but REAL buttercream icing, fluffy cupcakes, tart fillings, and flaky pies…you seriously cannot beat it. Vanessa O’Donnell, if you ever read this, I WILL swap photo sessions for baked goods. Just sayin.5. My parents’ new great pyrenees puppies, Sacha {pronounced Sasha} and Sadie. We got to visit them two weeks ago and they are so friggin sweet. Tess and Huck love them too 🙂 6. My new environmentally-friendly CD sleeves to go with the new packaging I am about to roll out. SO much better than the old plastic one, don’t ya think?!
