thread (v.) to connect by running a thread through; to proceed by a winding course
Thanks to the efforts of my awesome husband, I now have a name for my Thursday random-tidbit-I’m-lovin’ posts 🙂 Yippee!! Thanks Love; you’re the bestest! I have been WAY under the weather lately, like waaaaay under the weather, cooped up in bed trying to get better for the weekend. I think I am all healed now, thank you Jesus! So without further delay, here is this week’s Thursday thread {yes, I know it’s Friday. Like I said, way under the weather = good excuse, right??} :
1. ATTENTION Clients: All gallery-wrapped canvases are 15% off until Wednesday, so order yours now if you have been thinking about it! Gallery-wrapped canvases are a gorgeous display of your cherished images, printed on canvas and wrapped around 1.5″ width wooden stretcher frame. Your canvas arrives ready-to-hang, and make AWESOME gifts.
2. If any of you have noticed, my design website is currently down for a facelift, tummy tuck, and a little bit of collagen, but it will be up and running very soon. I plan to re-launch it within the next week or so and am super excited about it. Perhaps it will debut here on the Thursday Thread next week….??
3. I seriously cannot stop listening to Adele’s One and Only {on her 21 CD}. It got me through the 10-hour drive to and from DFW this week and if you want to know the truth, I sound pretty great singing it 🙂 Haha!
4. Sunshine. Sand. Sleep. Sister {and brother}-in-Law! Troy and I are beyond excited to be heading to Florida next week for a visit with his brother and sister-in-law. We have looked forward to this trip for some time now and I know that we are going to have a ton of friggin fun. Gah! I CAN’T WAIT!! Now if only I could find some cute sun dresses and a fun pair of flip flops, I would be even happier…
5. I don’t remember exactly how we met, or who technically introduced us, but my infatuation with Pinterest is rediculously strong. It is a genius idea/creation — for photographers, designers, teachers, decorators, people who love to craft, cook, read, I MEAN SERIOUSLY — The list is endless! It’s a digital file inspiration board for anything and everything you want to remember/take note of. Reading a blog and want to remember that yummy cookie recipe? Pin it! Browsing your favorite photographer’s portfolio and see a picture that inspires you? Pin it! See an uber-cute bow-tie for your pup and want to remember it come Christmas time? Pin that thing!! All of the photos you ‘pin’ contain a link to the website you got it from, so you never have to worry about cluttering your hard drive or your favorites list; everything you need can be stored, found, and re-visited in Pinterest! Whew, I think I just got myself all hot and bothered….I used 6 exclamation points in there folks. Six.
6. Martha Stewart Living magazine. This is one of my favorite reads. It has everything — recipes, decorating tips, fab finds, craft projects, gardening, and so much more. Although this month’s cover isn’t really one of my faves {where’s the back-to-school crafts, M?! or a cute Labor Day tablescape?!}, I still love skimming through it’s pages. Plus, being the font lover that I am, I LOVE looking at all of the beautiful layouts this magazine has, complete with some of the most chic fonts ever {helllooooo Archer!}. Oooh, sorry folks. You just got a good glimpse into my dorkiness. Woops! I am a HUGE fan of gifting magazine subscriptions for bdays, housewarmings, shower gifs, and Christmas {my sista gifted me Martha last year; thanks Linds!}, so this one may just be on my list for a few people this year 🙂 Any takers?? 🙂
