Happy Friday, folks! I am so glad the weekend is here because I am actually excited about having a few days at home so we can deep clean this house of ours and get things back in order after being away. You know it’s bad when I actually look forward to cleaning! I have some fun stuff to share next week, but first, my newborn session with baby Mason.
You may remember the Wiggans family from a few months back, when I posted Amanda’s maternity shoot. I had such a great time getting to know them {especially little Maddox and his pal Magilla the gorilla}, and was really excited about meeting their newest addition. I drove up to photograph him at just under a week old, and he is quite simply perfection.

Taking some family photos along with the newborn photos is one of my favorite things to do. I love getting to capture the entire family, still full of awe and joy for their new little one. Older brothers/sisters are usually so cute during this time too, helping out, checking on baby, and giving them kisses. 
Maddox is such a sweet big brother 🙂
One of my favorite parts of shooting Amanda’s maternity session was getting to meet Magilla, Maddox’s best bud; he kind of took on a life of his own behind the camera. So I am not going to lie, when I arrived at the Wiggans’ house, I had every intention of snapping some more photos of that cute monkey! Little did I know that baby Mason received his own monkey pal too {though I cannot seem to remember his name for the life of me}! Don’t they make the best pair? 
Amanda and Shane, working with you guys is like being among friends. I had such a fun time with Mason and Maddox, and I hope that you love the photos. Thanks for allowing me to photograph your sweet family again 🙂
