I am so excited this week is finally here; I have some fun stuff on my to-do list, starting with an Austin bridal session today with Megan. Also on the calendar for the next 7 days: a road trip to the Round Top antique show {eek! I am so pumped about this!}, an appointment with a new hair dresser {this is big, folks! Huge.}, and the softball tournament we have been practicing for over the last few weeks. Lots going on, but don’t they sound super fun? I will be wearing a big ol smile this week for sure 🙂
Before I get on the road to Austin, and in keeping with the ‘fun’ theme, I just had to share my session with little miss Amaya. I stayed up extra late last night so I could finish her sneak peek, because who in the world can wait any longer to see this sweet girl? Amaya turned 1 about a week ago and we got together for a little birthday photo shoot. She is the cutest, and made me work a bit for those adorable giggles and grins — but wasn’t it all worth it?
Amaya has a very pretty mommy and a very pretty aunt who helped us out during the shoot. I’m loving this shot of mommy + baby — way to rock those heels, girl!
I had the best time getting to photograph this precious little girl on her first birthday, and am pretty sure I have some new favorite images thanks to miss Amaya 🙂

I believe you are an artist! You captured her the way a loving parent sees their child from the heart. I am so happy that Jacque chose you for this moment of her life to be captured in pictures. I will definitely be thinking about you for future photo opportunities.
