Hellooooooo 2012! I hope each and every one of you had a fantastically wonderful end to 2011 and rang in the new year in style {unlike Troy and me…who spent 15 hours in the car. But more on that later…}! I do still have a few photo sessions to share with you in the coming week{s} to wrap up 2011 {I know, always a bit behind it seems}, so check back throughout the week for a glimpse at our end-of-year sessions and a special recap of our favorite images from 2011. For now, browse through our favorite images from our final wedding of the year: Julia + Jasonβs Our Lady of Cestohowa nuptials.
I must start by saying that I loved shooting this wedding. Everything about it was fun, laid back, beautiful, fun, and — did I already say fun? Just so we are clear: awesomely fun. I ended up with way too many faves, so brace yourselves; this is gonna be a long one! Starting with the gorgeous bride and her killer Enzoani dress.
The handsome groom π One of my favorite shots of the day — sibling love. Troy went all artistic on this one…and I love it. The newly announced Mr. and Mrs. McLaurin!Funnest wedding party ever π And beautiful to boot. Seriously, I call dibs on each of your weddings! You guys were awesome. …and then they danced. And boy did the ever! Each dance was special, custom, and so much fun to watch/photograph. {Love this one. Canvas? Yes please!}Sister dance π And then it was time for speeches — which were beautifully sincere and equally hilarious. Each member of their bridal party took the mic in a roast {slash} homage to Julia and Jason. Loved it!
This wedding reception was one of the danciest I have ever attended! These folks know how to cut a rug, and definitely kept us on our toes with all of their awesome moves. And these two? Ya, they totally win the award for best dance, most enthusiastic, and most original moves. I could dedicate a whole blog post to their awesomeness π One of my favorite shots ever, and it happened to be my last one of the night…
Julia + Jason, thank you oh so much for putting your trust in us to photograph your special day. We had the best time with you and your guests and truly felt like part of the celebration — and celebration it was! I hope you enjoy reliving it a little through this sneak peek π
