Where do I even start with these two? From the moment I met Rachel and Joe, I knew we would work great together. Much like their friends Faren and Jeff, we skipped quickly past all of the formalities and found ourselves becoming friends pretty early on {it is such a compliment and a gift when clients become friends}. We had a great day shooting R + J’s engagement photos, in some of the most beautiful locations I’ve been to yet {I warned you in this week’s Thread — get ready for some wildflower awesomeness!}. Thank you so much, R + J, for being willing so open to driving all over God’s green earth for the ‘perfect spot’ and for shooting with us into the moments right before dusk. You two are wonderful —wonderful people and wonderful together. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
Um, model much? Holy cow. I love this one 🙂 Beautifully effortless…
If I remember correctly, Joe has a thing for Oak trees {and oddly, so does Troy!}. Ask and you shall receive, Joe! This shot makes me smile. Canvas?
Another favorite 🙂
This next set was shot in an [unsuspecting] person’s driveway. Best driveway ever, wouldn’t you say?
Ok, maybe this one is my favorite. Love it…and all the credit goes to Troy on this one 🙂 Here is the glorious weed wildflower field I mentioned! The sun set perfectly behind it and gave us the most amazingly glowy light.
This one may very well be my favorite shot ever… gorgeous light, gorgeous couple. Lots of love.
Lots of love to our new friends. You are the best of the best and we can’t tell you how happy we are to be able to photograph your Galveston wedding this summer. It’s sure to be one heck of a good time and we thank you for choosing us to be part of it 🙂
Happy weekend, everyone!
