Lately, it feels like I have been posting a LOT of baby/newborn/maternity sessions, so here is a little something to switch things up: Taryn + Tommy’s rustic engagement shoot in Tomball. First, I LOVE Tomball. I haven’t had many opportunities to work there, but oh em gee I am going to jump at every chance I get; the area is gorge! Trust me, you will see. And second, I LOVE Taryn + Tommy. They are seriously two of the absolute sweetest, most genuine people, and I left their shoot feeling extra happy about my job. Happy happy happy {yes, that was a Duck Dynasty reference. Oh lordy}. I really can’t say it enough, but I get to meet the greatest people, the greatest, doing this crazyfun job of mine, and I am pretty certain that my clients are the cream of the crop. How could they not be?! Lucky girl right here. Taryn + Tommy are as good as they get, and with an awesome location {or two}, the most heavenly evening light, and all their newly-engaged lovey-dovey-ness, they killed their engagement shoot. One of my favorites of all time, and oh my gosh have I been on the edge of my seat waiting to share the favorites with you! Hold on to your hats, folks, there are a lot 🙂
Taryn was werkin’ it for me — go girl!
LOVE the one on the right…it makes me smile big.
So this spot that Taryn found is pretty much golden. It was a dream come true with all of the glowy evening light, and this next set ‘in the field’ makes my heart jump up and down with excitement. I could have shot here forever…
Dang, you two!
Did I already pick a favorite? No? OK this is it. Seriously? Could they get any sweeter?
Taryn, bringin’ it — BOOM.
Taryn’s mom tagged along for the shoot and instantly became one of my favorite people when she walked up to us with a handfull of wild blackberries. Before that night, I had never eaten a single ‘wild’ food {that I know of} and I was scared I would get some weird parasite and die on the spot {like in the Good Girl}. But she reassured me, along with Taryn, Tommy, and Troy, so I took a hesitant bite…and my taste buds thanked me. Big time. Holy cow those were some good berries! I often find myself looking for an excuse to head back to that field and scavenger for some more, they were that amazing.
T+T — you know you are 100% total awesomeness, and it has been too fun getting to know both of you and seeing the sweet love that you have for one another. We cannot wait for your Agave Road wedding in January; we know it is going to be a heck of a good time. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
