Lily | Houston Newborn Photographer

I have to start this post by warning you that I am extremely biased. There will be WAY too many “!!!!”, typing in all caps, and an overuse of words like adorable, precious, sweet, and perfect. Why? Because miss Lily is my brand new niece 🙂 And because I am pretty sure that these are my FAVORITE newborn images EVER {see, told ya — use of caps lock and signs of extreme bias. Brace yourselves}. Lily was welcomed with love by my sis- and brother-in-law and my nephew Jack — all of which photograph like CHAMPS I tell ya. I am not kidding, the Johnston fam brought it. Like WOAH. And I ended up with thousands — yes, thousands — of images. All of them melt my heart, but here are some of my absolute faves…

Told you. Isn’t she simply precious? I LOVE baby toes. And the ‘praying’ feet are my favorite — though usually very hard to happen upon {happen upon??}, UNLESS you have the perfect baby model who does EVERYTHING you {politely} ask of her 🙂 Exhibit A:

This next set is pretty much my favorite of the bunch: the cutest, sweetest, most adorable little Lily ballerina! Gah! Baby toes 🙂 Be. Still. My. Heart.

Has a baby in a bucket ever looked cuter??When my sweet niece wasn’t posing like a champ for her solo shots, we snuck in a few with her big brother Jackson 🙂 This was the first set we did {totally Lindsey’s idea — love!} and it makes me smile every time .

Then it was story time….…and then play time…It is such a joy to see how much Jack loves his little sister. I really don’t know that I’ve seen anything quite so sweet 🙂

I mean, seriously !? I LOVE this one 🙂 Love love loveIt kind of makes me laugh that Lily is getting a little kick in on big brother 🙂Okay, okay —  maybe THIS is my favorite? Ohmygosh I have so many 🙂

 

 

The amount of love and joy I have for this sweet family — and their most adorable new addition — simply cannot be described in words. They are the kindest, most thoughtful, loving people, and I feel so very lucky to have had the chance to take these photos for  them. T+L+j+l — lots and lots of love! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I hope you love your sneak peek HALF as much as I do! hehe
