With every couple we are lucky enough to work with, we feel very blessed to be able to call many of them friends, long after the camera is put away and the CD/prints are in the mail. And I feel EXTRA lucky for Faren {and her hubby, Jeff}, because she kind of blew the whole ‘clients-becoming-friends’ thing right out of the water. Looking back over the relatively short time we’ve known each other, I can’t understand how we didn’t meet sooner, but regardless of how long it took, I know that she is in my life for a reason. She’s the greatest kind of person and the best kind of friend — always thinking of you, always around to make you laugh, willing to try the most random diets with you, only to cheat with you over chicken wings and fries a day later… yes, that kind of friend. The kind of friend that isn’t the easiest to come by, and makes you feel super lucky to have them in your life.
