1. INSANE. I have spent the past few evenings shocking my fat muscles into action, all the while completely drenched in sweat. Sounds amazing, huh? Well, folks, that’s Insanity for ya. Troy and I bought in to the late-night infomercials and purchased this workout series with the hopes of doing something high-energy, fairly fast, and with major results. This workout is crazy and not easy by any means…but we are determined to finish it. And oddly, it’s kinda faun 🙂 We are still in week 1 of the 8-week program, but I am already loving it and have been looking forward to the next workout series. From the very first workout, the fit ‘test’, we were sore and about ready to die {dramatic much?} but we have continued to work {and sweat} our butts off each day. The peeps that we know who have tried Insanity said they got really great results, so we are hoping for the same. Paired with a pretty intense but really healthy diet/lifestyle change, I am excited to keep going!

3. Happy Birthday, Sarah!!!! Really, it’s a birth month celebration 🙂 But regardless, I wish you the greatest most wonderfulest day my friend, followed by the bestest, most amazing year. And I wish you LOTS of cupcakes. Can’t wait to celebrate with you guys tonight 🙂
4. CDP News. Things are chugging right along and there isn’t too much to report! Be sure to check out yesterday’s post about buying a new SLR camera and lenses; it’s loaded with info! Oh, and I also want to make sure and remind you about Facebook’s new ‘pay to promote posts’ policy, which allows only about 10% of people that ‘like’ a fan page to see the status updates. Boo! That’s a lot of missed sneak peeks, promos and give-aways, and random posts my friends! If you want to stay in the loop with all of this, click/hover over the ‘Liked’ button on my Facebook page (beneath the cover photo, to the right) and activate the ‘show in news feed’ option. 5. Thread Tunes. It’s been an editing whirlwind around here and I have been pretty glued to my computer lately. That means Pandora and iTunes have been on constantly. Last night while Troy and I did the bookkeeping, he set iTunes to shuffle and let the songs play as they will, and we found ourselves enjoying a little bit of Christmas music. Christmas in July, what what!! Those who know me well know that I am OBSESSED with Christmas, and the realization that we are halfway there makes my heart happy. So in the spirit of the holidays, this week’s Thread Tune is Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, sung by the Michael Buble. Because although he may be enjoying a mai tai on the beaches of Barbados, Santa will be heading this way before we know it, folks! Eeeek! So excited 🙂
