The storm brought dark, brooding clouds, but only let out a few droplets. It looked like it was going to turn ugly really fast, but the Blair family entered the open field, football in hand, determined to toss the ol pigskin around. So that’s exactly what we did, and as I snapped a few pics with the thunder crashing around us, Maddie laughed and leaned over to tell me how similar this setting was to the baseball scene in Twilight. I couldn’t help but laugh too, because she was 100% right…

This photo session was a birthday present for Maddie {and you KNOW how awesome I think that is!}, so I feel very grateful to have been part of such a special gift. Blair family — you have such a beautiful family, full of happiness and love for one another, and you did an amazing job together in spite of treacherous weather, swarms of bugs, and humidity like I’ve never seen. There was even a little bloodshed, so I thank you BIG TIME for your commitment!
