Well, it’s back to work I go, and what better way to kick things off than with a stunning wedding? We had been anxiously awaiting Kelly + Adam’s big day since we shot their engagement session last fall because we knew it was going to be a beautiful day packed with custom details, stylish design, and the sweetest kind of love.
The day started at the Four Seasons downtown were Kelly and her closest girls got ready. Kristin Daniell did a fabulous job with Kelly’s hair and makeup and helped her achieve a perfectly flawless look. Seriously girls, book her asap. She’s fantastic.
Adam sent his bride a sweet note and the most amazing David Yurman ring. I died when I saw it. Isn’t it lovely?
Kelly picked a gorgeous Marisa gown, which fit her perfectly, and oh those Jimmy Choos….I think I photographed them a half a million times that day. Oops!
Treschelle from Tres Bloom crafted Kelly’s bouquet of renauculus and hydrangea, complete with a pair of heirloom rings from Adam’s mom {who was also married on the same date as Kelly + Adam!}. And I adore the monogram wrap, don’t you?
The handsome groom rocked some pretty awesome accessories too — and what’s more perfect for a UT alum than these Longhorn button covers and cufflinks?
St. Luke’s Methodist church provided a stunning backdrop for portraits. I could shoot there all evening.
Before the ceremony, Kelly + Adam opted to do a different kind of ‘first look’, which I LOVED. It let them spend precious time together before the ceremony, still keeping an element of surprise. It was such a sweet moment for them and I loved the images we were able to capture.
Darryl & Co. did an impeccable job with the reception space, transforming the Petroleum Club ballroom into a vision.
Tres Bloom rocked the reception florals too, creating the most unique arrangements — everything from floating roses to LED lights. I was in awe at every arrangement we saw.
Kelly’s four-tier monogrammed cake by Susie’s Cakes was nothing short of amazing, and wait until you see Adam’s grooms cake….
Told ya. Holy cow, right??
Troy snagged this shot and I think it’s so dang cool. I love how it captures a casual, simple ‘behind the scenes’ moment during the reception, and Kelly adjusting her groom’s bow-tie 🙂
Fried Ice Cream Band provided awesome music the entire night; there was so much energy out there on the dance floor!
Kelly + Adam — you guys are so much fun and your wedding was such a blast to photograph. It was a gorgeous event and all of the lovely details came together perfectly. You made my job too easy! 🙂 Thank you both so much for letting us be part of your special day and making us feel like a part of the celebration. We wish you all the love and happiness in the world as you start this new journey together, and feel so grateful to have been a small part of it. Enjoy your sneak peek!
