Valentine’s weekend, we had a little gathering with our family and closest friends so we could all find out the gender of Baby Davis. I was so anxious and so excited to find out what we were having {and I think everyone else was too!} so I did a lot of work on the party to keep my mind occupied in the weeks leading up to our appointment. I think I may have gone a little overboard 🙂 but to be honest, I had a BLAST with all of the planning and details and I am so very happy with how everything came together. I wanted to incorporate a heart theme, but I didn’t want it to be super baby-ish or Valentine-y, so I chose a navy and pale pink color palette. Lisa from Petals by Design did the most amazing florals to bring pops of color to the party, and my friend Rebecca’s stellar cake was the obvious show-stopper {both in design and taste!}. Everything still makes my heart jump with happiness 🙂

Time for the big reveal! A few days before the party, our ultrasound tech told Rebecca the gender over the phone and Rebecca then used pink/blue frosting inside the beautiful cake for the reveal 🙂
It’s a girl!
Just to be sure Rebecca’s icing color was right, the tech gave us some backup proof 🙂
Tess and Huck even got in on the fun!
We are still on cloud nine, feeling so blessed and still so shocked that we get to go through this amazing journey, with the most beautiful gift coming our way in just a few short months. The party was such a fun way to share our journey with family and friends and I cannot truly express how special it was to have them all there with us as we got the happy news. Big hugs to my mom, sis, and of course Troy, for helping me get everything ready, and to everyone who made it out to celebrate with us 🙂
Let the pink-buying begin!

You are one of the most creative and talented people I have ever met! You are super duper creative, and your attention to detail is insane! Everything you made for your gender reveal party is so pretty and nice. 🙂 Your daughter is very lucky that you were chosen as her momma. She is going to be so well-dressed and accessorized. YOU ARE ADORABLE!

Beautiful gender reveal theme! Did you make the decor yourself or purchase it? Would love to use this color scheme for my upcoming gender reveal.

hello! I am doing my gender reveal party next weekend, and it is navy and pink also!! I love the “kissing in a tree” template. How did you make this or where did you get it!?
Thank you!
