Welcome back! I hope you all enjoyed the long holiday weekend; we surely did! Lots of relaxing, spending time with friends and family, and feeling extra grateful this Memorial Day weekend. I begged Troy to stay home today and keep the weekend going, but that request was pretty far-fetched considering he just had a four day weekend…ya, I know. Can’t blame a girl for trying, can you?! But now that we are back to the grind so-to-speak, I have a super fun engagement session to share with you!
Danielle and Ryan are quite the dynamic duo. They are adorable together, make each other laugh hysterically, and love each other like crazy. You can feel it when in their presence, and certainly see it in their photos, which consequently gave us soooo many great images from our time together. I have been really excited about sharing this shoot because they let loose and made it truly them, from the sweet embraces that almost always ended in a full out belly laugh to the all-out paint war at the end 🙂 Yes, I said paint war. Just you wait… Every bit of it had me smiling from ear to ear, so grateful to be able to work with them. I truly loved shooting this session and getting to know Danielle and Ryan better {fun fact: Danielle and I went to Tech together and were in the same service organization! MG love!}, and it has me sitting on the edge of my seat as I wait for their fall wedding. I can’t begin to imagine all of the fun it will be 🙂 Until then, here are a LOT of my faves from Danielle and Ryan’s e-session…

And finally, the paint. These types of sessions have been growing in popularity and I hadn’t had the opportunity to photograph one of them before now, but OMG I loved it! And Danielle and Ryan totally went for it too, leaving the session covered in powder paint — ears, eyes, shoes, everything had a nice layer of colorful powder on it 🙂 So much fun!
