One of my last sessions of the year was the adorable Baylee and Colton (who is also a Red Raider!). They wanted to capture their sweet relationship, so we ventured out to ‘the woods’ and did just that. I seriously could not have asked for a nicer couple, dreamier lighting, and that setting — ?! It reminded me of the east coast in October; all of the leaves were changing colors and floated down around us as we shot. It’s rare that we get any hint of fall in Houston, so I was in heaven during this session 🙂
I could not get enough of that light….hazy, dreamy light.
Baylee brought along a few items for their shoot to make it personal — love that. Since she and Colton were celebrating one year together, she included a sweet little framed print to mark the occasion (which was exactly one year to the date of our session!).
And what’s a December session without a few ugly Christmas sweaters?!? Baylee had the fun idea for some silly photos donning her grandmother’s bedazzled cardigan, and Colton wearing a festive golf-inspired sweater. How cute are they?!
This is Colton’s ‘I can’t believe you made me do this’ face 🙂
LOVE this last shot:
I had an amazing time getting to know these two and have them in front of my camera. Baylee, Colton, you are both so incredibly kind and were an absolute treat to photograph. Thanks for dodging trap door spiders, sitting on the wet ground, and trekking through God-knows-what to capture these images. Let’s do it all again soon, ok??? 🙂
