First, can I get an AAAAAAMEN for this beautiful weather we’ve had the past few days? Man, I am loving it. 75-80 degrees is just perfect. It makes me want to spend all of my minutes outside with my Bree, cozied up on a quilt and soaking in the warm weather 🙂 Edit: just as I went to hit the ‘publish’ button, it started raining…sheesh.Â
1. Spring Minis are Here! Earlier this week, I opened up spring mini sessions (Sat, March 15 morning) and am holding this set in the Cypress area. I have a few spots open if you’d like the chance to get a CDP session at a fraction of the price! Sessions are 20min and if you have any doubt about the photos that we can capture in 20min time, just check out these sessions — 1, 2, 3, 4. Minis are so much fun, so quick and carefree, and a great bang for your buck too 🙂 To learn more about the spring minis or secure a spot, click here. (**side note: if you have a request for minis in your specific area of town, let me know! Would love to bring the minis to new places!)
2. Workshop time! Saturday is the day, and I cannot wait, y’all. It has been a year since the last CDP workshop and we have TWO scheduled within the next month! Based on the emails flying back and forth, I can already tell that we have an incredible group of attendees, but then again, I have always been lucky enough to have  an awesome group of workshop peeps each time 🙂 I’m busy prepping all of the materials today and tomorrow, including packaging up a whole slew of fabulous giveaways, discount codes, and goodies from generous industry vendors (think Mpix, Kelly Moore, Lightscoop, and more!). There’s lots to do but I am eager to see it all come together. If I am a little slow to emails/texts/FB messages, bear with me; stuffing goodie bags while juggling a bebe is already tough enough — ha!
3. I’m Loving It. I have added a few things to my ‘love’ list lately and thought I’d share 🙂 First, I am SO loving my Rodan + Fields AMP MD roller. Y’all this thing is magical and worth every single penny. I won mine in a giveaway that my friend Ashley was having, so I guess that last comment may not technically mean much but I’m telling you, if I didn’t win mine, I would BUY one. LOVE it. Get one! 🙂 Next on my love list is this CD of lullaby renditions of Journey. My sis-in-law gave it to me at a shower when I was preggo and it does wonders in our house. Plus, it’s a bit more entertaining for the adults than Itsy Bitsy Spider or Hush Little Baby. I’m also loving our co-op, Farmhouse Delivery. I wrote about it a while back, but really want to share how much we have enjoyed it. The freshest local food, delivered to our doorstep every other week. And yes, we only order every other week because many of the veggies last THAT long. Who can beat that??? And last on my list, the ap Groovebook. For only $2.99 a month, you can get your favorite iPhone pics sent to you in a cute photo book. I love the idea of getting photos off of your phone and into the hands of your loved ones, and at $2.99x month, who wouldn’t? That’s cheaper than getting prints made!
4. Thread Tunes. Due to my renewed love of American Idol (Harry Connick Jr. is awesome, y’all), my Tune pick this week is from AI judge Keith Urban’s newest CD Fuse.  It’s a great listen, like most of his albums, but I keep going back to We Were Us and Little Bit of Everything. Happy, upbeat, toe-tappin’ tunes 🙂
Happy Thursday!
