As we approach the weekend and the next CDP workshop, I wanted to recap the one we held a few weeks ago. What a phenomenal group we had! The whole bunch was so excited about their photography and I was in disbelief over all of their thoughtful questions, as well as the variety in the types of things everyone enjoyed photographing. How do I always get the best workshop attendees??!! We spent the day going over photography tips, camera functionality, and how to deal with less than perfect shooting conditions, and also getting some good hands-on experience in. It really was an awesome time and I hope the attendees enjoyed it as much as I did. Although I spent most of the time talking everyone’s ear off, I did manage to snap a few photos throughout the day 🙂
Hugs to the girls at Papellerie for offering up their studio for our workshop and making sure it was perfect for us. It is the most creative, inspiring space, and was the best spot to spend the day. Thanks, y’all!!!
For every workshop, we have the most thoughtful vendors who donate the best accessories and gear for our attendees. I also want to thank Fat Batch Patisserie for donating the most incredible desserts for the workshop. Seriously, if you guys are looking for a local baker who knows how to make yummy treats, Chelsea is your girl — our shared name is a coincidence, I promise 😉  I could NOT get enough of those beautiful vanilla bean cupcakes, or the incredible  strassburger cookies. — YUM!

I am so grateful for a day spent with such a kind and inspired group. I love having a love of photography in common with so many people, and being able to share some of my experience with others makes me so happy.
