Lovely. Just lovely. That’s the word that kept coming to mind as I culled and edited these images. From the beautiful new mama and her tiny baby girl to the straight-out-of-a-magazine nursery and gorgeous light throughout their home, this shoot was a DREAM. Amanda and Blake shared sweet baby Elle with me just eight days after her arrival and it instantly brought me back to when we brought Bree home. You’re just totally smitten and overcome with the most incredible feeling of joy and love. It’s completely palpable and as this new family of three relished in it, it was my pleasure to get to capture that love with my camera.
I admit, it was incredibly difficult to narrow down this ‘sneak peek’ so it’s more like a catalog, with dozens and dozens of my favorite images 🙂 So sit back and Enjoy!

We snapped a few photos of Elle in her bassinet and let me tell you, it was divine, y’all. If Troy would’ve let me go all out, I would’ve wanted one nearly identical to this — perfection.
Almost as exciting as meeting the baby itself is getting to see what kind of nursery moms create for their little ones. It never gets old and no nursery is ever the same. Simple and sweet or rustic and masculine, I love getting to check out all of the special details and decor through my lens. Amanda completely outdid herself putting this sanctuary together for Elle, blending blush pinks with shades of grey, cream, and white, and adding lots of feminine touches like a crystal chandelier, ruffles, and trellis patterns. I couldn’t keep from oohing and ahhing over it every time I turned around!
