Although I was excited to relive this special day while going through these images, I still can’t believe my girl is ONE, so I really, really delayed editing them. But I promised I would share her party with you guys so I had to get to it! Looking through the photos, I remembered how much hard work went into this party, and how much fun I had planning and putting it all together. I love a good party 🙂 My inspiration for her summer soiree was girlie colors with an airy, watercolor look and a pop of gold here and there. I also love the color of vintage mason jars, so I pulled that in as well for a little contrast (and inspiration for the cookie favors). I think it represents Bree perfectly!
And this is the birthday girl, in a bit of a heat-and-sugar spell 🙂
We are big DIY-ers so my sister, mom, and I made almost everything having to do with this party that could be made. I must give MAJOR thank-yous to them (and Troy!) for helping make my vision come to life and dealing with my never-ending to-do list. There may have been jokes about cracking whips and someone being a bit of a dictator (ehem) but you guys were incredible through it all and were so kind to offer your talents and your time. xoxoxo
Hugs to all who celebrated with us, and a very special thank-you to Rebecca Green for making another set of gorgeous and delicious cakes. She really is the best, y’all. I know I tested her limits (and patience!) on this one 🙂
