This tiny little bundle of adorableness is Dillon and I swooned over him all day as we captured his newborn session. Isn’t he the sweetest thing ever??? He was alert and awake during so much of the session, taking everything in around him (and wanting to eat quite a bit too!). I just loved getting to witness all of the wonder and awe that he experienced. Dillon’s parents were just as in awe of him as he was with his new world, and it truly is remarkable getting to be a small part of of that and capture it with my camera…
Momma Ashley is the coolest, y’all. And if she wasn’t so sweet, I could totally elbow jab her for looking so INCREDIBLE just days after giving birth (hehe, just kidding, Ashley!). Seriously, it’s insane though 😉

We also shot a few photos of Dillon on this beautiful, family heirloom quilt. It was made many years before Dillon was born, by his late fraternal grandfather, who knew that a special little boy would snuggle into it one day. I adore that.
And here is Dillon’s adorable (ellie-filled) nursery. Be still my heart!!
