I didn’t think I would be lucky enough to get to shoot in bluebonnets this season because of the nasty rainy weather we’ve had down here and because our weekends have been crazy busy. So when my sis in law mentioned a great patch of bluebonnets as the location of their family session, I nearly jumped for joy. They live in north Texas and I didn’t think bluebonnets lasted long up there, and I certainly didn’t think the patches would be that great but I couldn’t have been more wrong. This little spot was tucked away in a gorgeous neighborhood, the perfect place to safely snap photos among the flowers, especially if you have little kiddos. I am very seriously considering a set of sessions up there next spring because it’s that amazing, but until then, check out the fun images we snapped last weekend!
