I am really having beach withdrawals, y’all. We took our annual Port Aransas trip for the Fourth of July holiday with Troy’s family and we had a total blast. This year was even more fun than the years past and I loved making memories with the kids. There are eight kiddos/cousins ranging from 6mo to twelve years, who all adore each other, who love to play together and experience all kinds of firsts together, and it makes my heart so happy to watch them grow up and know that there will be so many of these trips and memories in the years to come. I managed to snap a few photos in between relaxing and soaking in some much-needed family time (and am so high-fiving myself for editing these and blogging them less than a week later – ha!) …
The next day, for the fourth, we were lazy and hung out at the pool, went out on the boat, and relaxed around the house. I didn’t take any photos of that but I did bring my camera along for all of the evening’s festivities which included the traditional cookout, piñata for the kids, and firework watching (a first for Bree and her cousin Aiden this year).
Time for fireworks!
