I don’t know how I get so lucky, but the kindest, most gorgeous families come my way, entrusting me with their special photos and I am constantly in awe of the loveliness I get to photograph as part of my job; perfectly planned nurseries with unique details and special touches, joyful mamas and daddies, and curious yet proud older siblings… it’s the best.
I met the Passmore family two weeks ago after they arrived home with their little boy Bennett and I spent the morning oohing and ahh-ing over that sweet boy (as well as Meghan’s impeccable eye for decorating!) and getting to know them a bit, realizing we have a ton in common. It makes the world seem so much smaller and I love when that happens 😉 We also laughed about how crazy life can be with two kids under age two — I thought we were NUTS at first! — and it’s nice to see that it’s not so uncommon (albeit just as crazy at times) as I originally thought. Meghan and Willie sure do have beautiful babies though, making one pretty photogenic little family. Check out a few of my favorite captures from their session…
Can you even believe this nursery? Fab job, Meghan!
The quilts in the images above and below are quite special. They were made for Bennett by his late great grandmothers — one from each of them.
Bennett has the most delightful big sister, Camille (or Milly, as her family lovingly refers to her). Once we got past the introductions and newnesses, she warmed up to me a bit and we were able to get some of my very favorite family images. Such a doll! Side note: the master bedroom is adorable; just look at the headboard, and those black monogrammed pillows!
It was wonderful meeting you, Passmore family! Congratulations on your sweet boy, and many thanks for the pleasure of getting to shoot for you 🙂
