I thought it would be fun to share some images from our trip to California in April, where we did a lot of beach bumming, venturing out in SoCal, and exploring the San Diego Zoo. Organizing these photos for the blog makes me really crave being back there…
On the first day, we took our time settling into the house and played a little on the patio that overlooked the beach, complete with a beautiful watercolor sunset.
Waking up overlooking the beach (and walking a quarter of a mile to grab some yummy coffee) was an incredible way to start the day before heading to the San Diego Zoo.
Troy got in a round of golf at Torrey Pines while we enjoyed a day on the beach. I’m not entirely sure which of us had more fun 😉
Our last night in San Diego, we enjoyed a visit with my step sis and her family and hung out on the beach a bit before indulging in yet another incredible grilled dinner with a sunset view of Mission Beach.
