Hi, friends! I am Chelsea.
I am wife to my college sweetheart (Troy) and mother to three busy little ones — Bree, Everett, and Hallie. Our Labrador Huck rounds out the family and keeps things crazy! My husband and I both grew up primarily in the DFW area, then headed west for college at Texas Tech and eventually ended up in Houston for ten years after we graduated. I started my business there and truly loved our experience in the bayou city, enjoying the people and the food the most! My husband’s job and the desire to be closer to family brought us back to DFW in 2016 and we are so happy to be “home”( though we do make frequent trips back to Houston!). We bought a home in the middle of the metroplex, a project house if you will. We have loved slowly working on it ourselves, channeling our inner DIY spirit to create a bright, cozy space for our small family.
My Mission
I have been a photographer for over eleven years, working with families, seniors, couples, and corporate clients — and I still get butterflies before every session! My highest priority when working with my clients is that they feel completely comfortable and have fun during our time together, walking away from their session knowing that it was successful and that beautiful images were captured. It can be overwhelming finding a photographer in a very saturated market, one who you can trust to see your vision and know they’ve got your back — because let’s be honest: few things are as unnerving as being in front of the camera. “Am I standing right? Do I look okay? Are the kids smiling? How’s my hair?” I have been in your shoes and rest assured, I’ve got you, friend. I talk you through the entire session, explaining what I am getting in camera and subtly making changes to an arrangement or interaction where needed, all the while encouraging you to let loose and simply enjoy yourself… because that always photographs best. Always. I’ll take care of everything, so you feel confident end up with images that you truly adore and can cherish for years.
